Julian Assange is set to host a series of in-depth conversations with “key political players, thinkers and revolutionaries from around the world” -but no word yet if there will be an Australian broadcaster.
The theme of the new series, announced on Wikileaks will be “the world tomorrow.”
Assange, currently the subject of an ongoing Grand Jury investigation in the United States, says: “Through this series I will explore the possibilities for our future in conversations with those who are shaping it. Are we heading towards utopia, or dystopia and how we can set our paths? This is an exciting opportunity to discuss the vision of my guests in a new style of show that examines their philosophies and struggles in a deeper and clearer way than has been done before.”
The series will begin airing in mid-March, in ten weekly half-hour episodes.
Wikileaks claims initial licensing commitments cover over 600 million viewers across cable, satellite and terrestrial broadcast networks. The show could still be up for grabs for the Aussie markets with the site welcoming new enquiries.
Assange will also be the subject of a biopic for Network TEN later this year.

The show will be a bore. Because no matter who he is interviewing, he will make it about himself. And to be honest the mans a total melodramtic bore.
SBS will most likely be the home of this series.
A good catch for whichever network picks it up. Depending on price, the ABC is the obvious home for the program.
Cool. I hope he interviews Adam Curtis.
That’s exciting television!
This will be interesting!
Excellent! I’ll be watching this series, one way or another.
Julian Assange – Australian of the Year in my opinion.
