  1. Looking at Freeview, Adelaide gets the oscars at 12pm and Perth at 9:30am. Southern Cross in the Spencer Gulf of SA have it at 12:30pm though according to their guide. WA viewers can wake up with today at 2:30am on Monday morning. Win deserve a pat on the back for putting on the oscars, Today and morning news live.

  2. Thank you to Channel 9 and Go! for airing the show live and replaying it that night. I work all day Monday and always look forward to the Oscars telecast, so seeing it later is great!

  3. I can’t watching live this year.

However normally I start about 40 mins into the broadcast, having taped of the IQ. So i can fast forward ads or speeches i don’t want to watch.

I will just be tapping from StarPcs HD.

I’ll never give Nine my business for the Oscars ever again after a few years ago they cut awards out of their delayed broadcast. Apparently Australians don’t care about best foreign picture.

  4. So happy they’re broadcasting it live and then replaying it later that evening! I’ll be at work all day and I always look forward to the Oscars every year, so this is great news!
