  1. I know it is a little presumptuous but I think TEN is going to tank again this year. They have hardly any new shows and they rely on minimal shows for survivial. The ones they do have are old, unevolutionised and boring except for Masterchef. C’mon TEN, give us something that is somewhat like to what you used to have.

  2. Well after Seven’s dominance last year I was actually hoping would be able to win week or 2. However now.. I hope Nine get taken to cleaners.. why should they have any success with such lazy programming?

  3. @ Craig – I love this actress in Revenge! She was so likable in Brothers And Sisters!! She has a huge career ahead of her! I wish her well…..so looking forward to seeing future episodes of this fabulous show!!!!

  4. Maybe Seven didn’t need to pay all that money for the AFL rights? With the first week of ratings won so convincingly and with twice as many AFL games coming than they have shown in the past, Seven has won this year hands down (excluding thw two Olympics weeks). Game Over!

  5. At this point, it is definitely looking like another one horse race. The thing that I’m really disappointed in is Ten for the fact that this is probably their best chance to beat the incredibly weak schedule Nine has and Ten turns out to be weaker.

  6. I’m surprised 9 rates as well as it does, it seems to show wall-too-wall Big Bang Theory, Two & a Half men, and little else. I hardly ever watch anything on 9.

  7. Better still, this is a conservative schedule for 7, they have held a lot off for later in the year. When the other networks are finishing up their shows and repeats dominate their schedules 7 is still going to be going strong. Unfortunately it means it will probably be another boring one horse race this year.

  8. So Nine ‘wasted’ 3 new TBBT and still didn’t win the week, a dumb move IMO. They have a limited number of eps before the season is over until late in the year. On current numbers we’ll probably see around 500 re-run eps to fill the schedule. They have already shown around 100 re-runs in the past 2 months.

Good on Seven for the win, Nine and the others have work to do if they are going to topple them.

@Jake – Revenge gets more involved as the story goes on, so stick with it it’s well worth the ride as she starts taking revenge on them!

  9. Big big win for Seven. There is no doubt who the market leader is. They clearly have the firepower and yet they haven’t even rolled out all their good content yet with AGT, DWTS, Downton Abbey, Once Upon a Time and Criminal Minds just to name a few still to come.

  10. I liked the 1st episode of Revenge even though it was a bit uneventful. I suppose they had to set the story and the characters up so it couldn’t be helped…..it will only get better from here on……
