Nine slips to third on Tuesday

For the third time in three weeks TEN has beaten Nine on a Tuesday.

After a win on Monday night, Night was relegated to third place on Tuesday. It’s the third time in three weeks TEN has beaten the network on a Tuesday.

Seven News topped the night with 1.25m viewers. Its other results were Today Tonight (1.09m), Home and Away (960,000), World’s Strictest Parents (631,000), Deal or No Deal (539,000) and Parenthood (535,000 / 528,000).

The Biggest Loser (951,000) again led for TEN then NCIS (820,000 / 662,000), Bondi Vet (768,000 / 758,000), TEN News (742,000) and The Project (519,000).

Nine News topped Nine’s night with 1.2m viewers followed by ACA (1.00m), Big Bang (997,000 / 817,000), 2 Broke Girls (802,000 / 569,000), Hot Seat (613,000), Two and a Half Men (434,000) and Top Gear (330,000).

ABC News was 929,000 on ABC1 then Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple (770,000), 7:30 (689,000), Country Town Rescue (686,000),

Who Do You Think You Are? continues to draw crowds on SBS ONE with 526,000. Insight was 328,000.

Neighbours topped multichannels with 296,000 viewers.

  1. Who Do You Think You Are?….can be quite an emotional journey for some of the participants….I really enjoy the Australian series…
    I catch Country Town Rescue on IView.

  2. I was hoping Parenthood would get better numbers, good thing the Rafters are back next week.

    So much for Nine wanting to dominated Tuesday nights with 2.5 Men and Top Gear, I know both were re-runs last night.

  3. Country town rescue is a good show.

    not sure how H&A will go once the Block and Masterchef return. It has often dropped below 1 million this year….

  4. I’m pretty sure 2 Broke Girls in doing dismally as there were are the same episodes that were on about 4 or 5 weeks ago. I’m actually surprised the first episode got 802,000.
