MTV comedy The Hard Times of R.J. Berger finally gets it Free to Air premiere tomorrow night on GO!
Think Hung meets The Wonder Years here as Paul Iacono faces high school life with …..a rather huge appendage.
It starts with a double episode, 10:30pm Thursday on GO!
With his sex-obsessed sidekick Miles Jenner and the stalkerish Lily Miran by his side, 15-year-old RJ Berger jerks into Sophomore year with a mission – to beat the odds despite his “loser” status.Â

Why put new content on at 10:30 after a stack of repeats? I won’t be tuning in at that time.
@MuchoTB – yeah, and he has the same hairstyle and glasses that they’ve been giving the nerdy hero for the last 50 years.
Really glad to see this get a wider audience. It’s a pretty funny show for a bad concept.
This show is garbage – its like a dodgy American version of The Inbetweeners. Not surprised its made by MTV. They butchered Skins by making a bastardised American version as well.
At least The Inbetweeners had endearing characters and realism in the midst of all the smutty humour…here it’s so cliched and stereotyped I’m surprised it isn’t a parody. Popular blonde girl…check. Smutty fat sidekick. Check. Angry gay boyfriend: check. Weird outcast protagonist with a heart of gold: check.
Now, there’s that actual US Inbetweeners remake that I hope never sees the light of day…same with the Misfits one
