Jennifer Lopez to exit American Idol?

The rumour mill has begun on just who will stay with American Idol for its 2013 season.

The finale hasn’t even aired and already the rumours are spinning on the next season of American Idol.

E!Online references sources who say that “She’s just too busy,” to stick with the show.

She’s about to launch a mega concert tour with Enrique Iglesias in Latin America and the U.S then plans to go worldwide and was also just announced as the most powerful celebrity by Forbes.

The next round of Idol auditions will begin while she’s overseas.

Lopez apparently also wants to free up her schedule next year, possibly taking a little hiatus from work to be with her kids.

She recently said, “It’s tough. It’s a balancing act. You put them first and then you have all these other things that you have to do, that you have to give your time to as well, and you have to make sure that they’re OK in the process.”

Producers have also recently said they are seeking to step up the show next season, amid increased talent show competition.

Lopez has been on Idol for two seasons but Jenny (still?) from the block has publicly said she has yet to make a decision about her future.

Yeah i’ve come to really like J-Lo = i know she is a princess and diva of the highest order – but her comments are substantial and often heart felt, unlike the gibberish of Randy, and the small vocab of the great Steven Tyler – “it was over the top, man – just over the top”. She comes across with warmth – and she brings a glamour factor too.
    But 20 mill – “So over the top, man”

  4. Well… she hasn’t brought in the ratings.. in fact they’ve continued to decrease I think

    So she’s obviously not worth the 20 million (or whatever ridiculous amount) they are currently paying for her.
