  1. was somewhat underwhelmed by the first episode… especially as the very first game (‘Cyclone or Saint’) seemed very close to Spicks n Specks ‘Musician or Serial Killer’.

    For a show about words, there seemed to be very little wordplay, as such. Was expecting more… maybe it builds as the show settles in..?

  2. Is it just me, or has Laid received no promotion whatsoever? It’s been impossible to escape promos for Randling, but I still haven’t seen any TV ads for Laid.
    I didn’t watch the previous series, but I remember hearing it got very poor ratings. Is it possible that this is a “let’s burn off an unwanted second series as quickly as we can” situation?
