US network ABC is launching 10 new series in its upcoming Fall season: 666 Park Avenue, The Family Tools, How To Live With Your Parents (For The Rest Of Your Life), Last Resort, Malibu Country, Mistresses, Nashville, The Neighbors, Red Widow and Zero Hour. Five of them will premiere in the Fall, the rest in midseason.

The shows include lead roles for Rachael Taylor (666 Park Avenue), Radha Mitchell (Red Window) plus other Aussies in Last Resort.

In its scheduling, Revenge will take the slot held by Desperate Housewives, positioned with returning fairytale drama Once Upon a Time and 666 Park Avenue.

  1. How long before the title “How to live with your parents (for the rest of your life” gets renamed. I can imagine those on US TV blogs going crazy with acronyms HTLWYP (FTROYL) haha

I don’t think there’s much hope for PP on 10pm Tuesdays.

  2. Brett Tucker, another Aussie, has a lead role in Mistresses as well.

@TVTim. You are correct, it is based on the British format.

    666 Park Avenue looks interesting.

  3. Last Resort description reminds me of Lost with a submarine. Although presumably will go in a different direction. Zero Hour and 666 Park Avenue could be interesting or terrible: same with Last Resort. I’ll note Zero Hour isn’t scheduled that I can see. Of course I like Castle and Once Upon a Time.

  4. That Sunday night schedule looks flawless. Love it with Once, Revenge and the new buzz show 666 Park Ave. I must say its a big risk ABC are taking moving Revenge though. It shows they have faith in the show but i hope it doesn’t spell the end for it. 9pm Sunday is a super competitive timeslot and is a farcry from Wednesdays at 10pm.

  5. I just watched the trailer for Last Resort, it looks interesting but risky. I applaud the amount of shows that are trying to come up with original genre shows, but we all know they dont last…
