Votes closing for Best Australian Blogs

Time is running out to vote for the People's Choice round in the Best Aussie Blogs. Have you voted yet?

Voting is closing in a week’s time in The People’s Choice round in the Best Australian Blogs 2012 Competition.

Thanks to everyone who has voted for TV Tonight so far. No idea how many have been registered, but there are over 15,000 votes in the category according to the Sydney Writers’ Centre. Special thanks to Julia Morris, James Manning at Media Week and Suzanne Carbone at The Age for the extra plugs!

I reckon I will need every vote to have any hope, because the contest allows votes from local blogs with hefty international traffic, and mine is about 98% Australian visitors.

Maybe I should ask Kerri-Anne to head up my campaign?

If you would still like to send some love back you will need to vote by Wednesday 9 May at 5pm, registering a name and valid email. Tell your Twitter folk after you’ve voted if you are really in the mood. Hey, it worked for Hamish Blake….

Vote for TV Tonight here.

Thanks, David!

  1. David, I voted for you but how monotonous was it for your voters to have to scroll through five pages to get to your blog name. I really think this will count against you and in my opinion you deserve to win. See if the organisers can change their voting structure next year. Otherwise you should rename your blog to aaaaTVTonight to give yourself a chance. Best of luck 🙂
