Meet Ava, the first Intruder into the Big Brother house for 2012.

She is revealed in today’s edition of NW magazine.

The 29 year old hails from Victoria and is described as an aspiring singer-songwriter.

“I describe myself as bubbly,” she says, “I’m a go-go, bouncy-bounce energetic, buoyant lover of life and I live for the randomness!”

The mag is already debating whether she will click with muso Josh or George who has a thang for brunettes.

While she will probably create conflict amongst the established members of the house, it seems the casting is remaining youthful despite the pre-season promos that showed a much wider demographic and banned attention-seeking party-goers.

Big Brother introduces Ava tonight and will enter a room to herself.

Tomorrow night she will meet the housemates.

7pm tonight on Nine.

    Totaly agree with what you saying.. Exactly its the way i new and thought about these big brother promos weeks before big brother began. Like for example This year big brother wont have floosies and blondies with full of makeup and guys with so what big buffelo muscle mass.. But again why do we have some strong guys in the house? why do we still have a few floosies in the house. As in blondies and lots of yada talks ? The promos they did was pretty much useless.. Also what was the cheff and the priest and the co worker with the tools dancing for big brother?? one older looking guy and a ladie that looked like a secrretary in her 40s. I really new from these addverts weeks before bb began that there will be the theory that aventually whatever they do as promos it will be “useless” because after all you still going to get floosies in the house and guys been msucle muchos wanna be one. So Why bother make these promos for ? oh i bet they did it because they simply didn’t had anything better to make with ideas and imaginations so they end up fooling themselfs complete. Along with the music which was never related to bb show at all. Anyways im very irritated about the promos leading to bb show. Also that The block advert saying Big brother show is taking over out timeslot… But hold on… why make this promo about the block vs bb show when the block was meant to finish 2 weeks before big brother begings.. so why do rediculours advertices promos like that? They simply don’t have nothing better to do so they just do it for amusement and because they want to be watch the centre of everything.

    But, there is no ‘real’ second house. How can imaginary people be ‘more diverse’? Perhaps this is a good example of the ‘fooling’ re House 2 haven’t been carried out rather well!

    I agree on the gap between what the promos promised and who was put in the house.

    Sigh – she’ll be evicted as soon as she’s up for nomination.

    The viewers will decide the sort of people who come into the house and the way they came.

  6. If she goes into the House “tonight” that means she actually went in last night for them to edit the footage for tonight’s Daily Show. Yet another night fans miss out on with no live streaming or UpLate.

  7. Looks like george and Josh had all this time (in the real world) to find a real true brunette for cried out loud. How bad are they for not trying. So they end up dating someone from the big brother house and more likely has a relationship out there and always ruine it. And that happens quite alot on the australian big brother house. Not sure if males and females are so selfish… But seriously if they want a relationship.. they all looking in all wrong directions. They need to get out there after big brother to find the one. Not just random who ever becomes a housemates. Thats just using that person. And at the end most housemates would end up dating someone in the house but it is then when relationship breaks because the male and or the female wakes up and realise theres more aportunity out there then in the sqaure box of big brother. But aniways good to see intruders. Im feeling there be a Male intruder the week after… can’t just be one female and thats it. But remember bb commercials before it began that there wont be blondies and these muscle mass types. I gues all these promos where useless after all.

  10. an Intruder? wow that’s a new fresh idea, how on earth did they come up with it, I stopped watching the original bb after season 3, this series i stopped watching after the 3rd night. It’s pathetic television filled with out of work unknown actors who will probably appear on underbelly next year.

  11. @jjfabbsy…I don’t call it a great production effort to see on the first days vids being put onto the 9 site with a magpie or two wandering the lawn. That’s just about all one video was. They must have lifted their game considerably in the past week, however, even fans on the FB Offical page stated there are various vid updates out of sync etc and some with wrong titles. And that the housemates continually see aspects of the live show intros etc they are not, ostensibly, supposed to be seeing.

    Not the best BB production that has been in Aussie but if they have lifted their game now perhaps it’s a good production given the budget.

    I did notice people with set top boxes saying they wish Big Brother would just be called Big Brother because apparently some went to record BB last night and set the box (or whatever you do) but it didn’t work because in the program list it turned out to be “Big Brother (sneak peek….etc)” They begged those who create program info to please leave titles as simple titles. Not having a stb not quite sure how it works.

  13. Casting is fine for me this year, in fact I am very much enjoying the show. Although I do miss the live feeds, the editing of the daily shows has been consistently engaging.

    It’s early days, so I’m sure we’ll get the diversity sprinkled in throughout the series…the production team has already given a taste of the housemates views on controversial topics….possibly planting the seed for more “challenging” interactions with future housemates.

    If not, well I’m still entertained by the housemates one-liners, conflicts and the great production.

    Sonia Kruger has been an entertaining host, a great successor to Gretel Killeen.

  15. Is the album poised for release? How many other shows is she slated for……

    She is at least showing a propensity already for the rather silly double barreled BB terms…she is ‘go go, bouncy bounce’ and no doubt some will go cray cray for her. Will she be put into nom noms by jealousy?

    Arggghhh..can’t stand this dumbing-down expression style.
