Axed: Fairly Legal

US drama starring Sarah Shahi as a mediator ends after two seasons.

US drama Fairly Legal has been axed by USA Network.

The drama, which stars Sarah Shahi (The L Word) as a woman who changes her profession from lawyer to mediator and works at the law firm her father started in San Francisco, ends after two seasons.

It began airing in Australia on Seven in July.

Shahi has already landed a major recurring role on NBC’s firefighter drama Chicago Fire, which also features Jesse Spencer.

USA Network also axed Common Law earlier this week.

  1. She was also Shayne’s girlfriend and almost wife; Carmen in the L word, and I really enjoyed the actress in this role. Pretty sure there was a season two of Fairly Legal made so maybe Seven will get it, even if it’s on late. Does anyone know if they tied up the loose ends or did it finish in a cliffhanger?

  2. Oh this sucks! I loved season one on Seven and have been hanging out for season two to premiere. Hopefully Seven show it over the summer when ratings are low as they wouldn’t expect high ratings now that it has been cancelled.
