Foxtel begins its annual charity push today as personalities and corporate execs participate in the annual Foxtel Lap.

The Foxtel Lap is now in its eighth year, raising money for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI), Australia’s largest children’s medical research body. Sarah Murdoch is the charity’s ambassador.

It begins at Melbourne’s Birrarung Marr on Friday November 2 from 8am to 6pm as teams compete to run as many 100m ‘laps’ as they can on treadmills and 225m ‘laps’ on spin bikes.

Foxtel Lap ambassadors appearing at Birrarung Marr will be Shaynna Blaze, Bryce Holdaway, Kris Smith, Marty Smiley, James Bracey, Sarah Jones, Neroli Meadows, Chris Stubbs and Julian De Stoop.

Also appearing is Dave Hughes and Mike Perso.

Some of Melbourne’s most competitive senior executives and CEO’s will take part in the Chiefs Challenge at 5.30pm.

The Foxtel Lap is sponsored by Nova 100, Fitness First, Ernst & Young and SCT Logistics.
