Screen Actors Guild Awards 2013: nominees

Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Downtown Abbey, Homeland & Mad Men are amongst 2012 SAG nominees.

The casts of Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Downtown Abbey, Homeland and Mad Men will battle it out for the ensemble awards in the TV Drama category at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January.

The nominees were announced earlier this morning in Los Angeles.

But according to the LA Timesreaders of the Awards Daily blog discovered that a glitch in the SAG website allowed readers to see the nominees by typing in the actor or movie’s name in a simple search.

“We are aware of this matter,” a SAG spokesperson said in a statement. “There appears to have been a technical glitch with the website uploading process and we are working with our vendor to resolve the problem.”

  1. Now that is an impressive list of shows and talent. Compare that with what we put up for the Logies – it’s enough to make you do the cultural cringe.

  2. Although I love Homeland and think Damien Lewis and Claire Danes deserve the awards, I really think Julianna Margulies deserves praise for her outstanding role in The Good Wife over the past 4 seasons!
