US animated series Archer has been renewed for a fifth season.

US animated series Archer has been renewed for a fifth season.
FX has ordered a 13-episodes of the series featuring the International Secret Intelligence Service’s Sterling Archer.
In the US this year it has ranked as cable TV’s No. 2 series in delivery of men 18-34 behind The Walking Dead.
FX also announced that Archer will be submitted into the best comedy series Emmy category this year.
“Archer is one the very best comedy series on television,” FX’s Nick Grad said.
The series has aired in Australia on Comedy Channel and ABC2.

I didn’t see Archer in the lineup for ABC2 this year. What happened ? Do they have to wait 12 -18 months to get rights to further seasons ?

I heard something about this.. it was ‘just the tip’.
So, I guess it’s not in some sort of zone of danger then.
