Sam Moran to host Nick Jr. kid’s show

Former Yellow Wiggle, Sam Moran, will front his own kids TV show for Nick Jr.

Moran will play a Dr Doolittle-type character performing original songs that he has written for the show.

He told News Limited, “I had a few offers (since leaving the Wiggles) but I wanted to make sure it was the right project. When Nickelodeon came to me with this idea, it worked in well with the project I had already been developing myself.

“The songs are new. But it’s still going to be the same old Sam that children have come to know.”

The new show begins filming this month and goes to air in April.

Moran was sacked by The Wiggles just over a year ago.
