Dave Hughes returns to The Project on Monday.

2013-02-09_0046Dave Hughes returns to The Project on Monday.

First up, Samuel Johnson and his dulcet tones tell us a beautiful story about his sister and her losing battle with breast cancer. In order to raise awareness, Johnson is attempting a world record attempt to unicycle around the entire country, a mere 15,000 kilometres.

Tuesday sees glamour puss Megan Gale join us at the desk to co-host the show, while on Thursday Australian television and cinema stalwarts Stephen Curry and Brendan Cowell pop in to chat about comedy, cricket and Bollywood music.

Also, we couldn’t let Valentine’s Day pass un-noticed. Kitty Flanagan gives us tips on what not to do, plus we go all scientific and tell you how love affects the body, physically that is.

6:30pm weeknights on TEN.

  1. And The Project goes back to being unwatchable having started the downwards slope with Carrie’s return. I was hoping Dave had called it quits given his extended break Peter Helliar and Scott Dooley doing much better in his chair just as Magdalena Roze did while Carrie was elsewhere, Ten should find that lady something to do before Nein and Seven put offers in!

  2. Couldn’t agree more oztv – The Project is far better off without Dave, whose presentation and story relating is really pretty poor, and not all that funny.

A classic case where the’ fillerinerers’ are way better.

  3. It appears Hughes is good freinds with the team and production company but have to say the project has been so much butter without Dave. During the break we have been able to see so many fill ins and most of them are better presenters and funnier. The big surprise was Dave helliar. He was great and very funny. I would suggest. Replace Dave with Dave. Sorry Dave!!
