karl-stefThis weekend, Karl Stefanovic gets his second 60 Minutes story in two weeks.

And one of them is called “The Imposter”…..!

The Imposter
Truth may be stranger than fiction but this story is simply gob-smacking. It begins with the disappearance of a teenage boy. His family searches for him, desperately but unsuccessfully. Then, 3 years after vanishing, Nicholas Barclay reappears on the other side of the world. There’s joy, jubilation, and there’s his harrowing account of what happened to him. But as you’ll see, something’s not quite right.

Big Man, Big Heart
David Foster is a World Champion woodchopper, the undisputed King of Australian Axemen. He’s been Tasmanian of the Year and won an Order of Australia. Then 3 years ago, a family illness cut David Foster’s life in half. His wife was sick, and doctors had given up all hope. But not Dave. This is a story of a big bloke, with an even bigger heart.

Roam Free
Why did the chicken cross the road? Because it could, it was “Free Range”. But what does “Free Range” mean? On Sunday night we’ll go behind the supermarket shelves, and inside the chicken sheds, to find out. Right now there’s a food and farm revolution going on, pigs and battery hens are being liberated from cages. And the next frontier is the roast chook. We eat more than 10-million chickens every single week, and the way most of them are raised, is now the biggest animal welfare issue in Australia.

Producer: Howard Sacre

7:30pm Sunday on Nine.

  1. The Imposter is a 15-years-old news story. The movie came out a year ago.
” But as you’ll see, something’s not quite right.” Yeah.
    “Hi mom, I’m back”
“Oh Nicholas, your eyes have changed colour”.

  2. and both of those stories are filler during non ratings weeks. Im not sure you can behave like a bafoon on an end of season football trip Monday – Friday mornings for 3.5 hours and then expect to be taken seriously as a current affairs reporter come Sunday night.
