‘All clear’ after evacuation at Seven Melbourne

Seven staff have been given the all clear after police examined an unattended piece of luggage outside its Melbourne headquarters in Docklands.

The bomb squad checked a small black luggage case that was left outside the building and set up an exclusion zone at the corner of Harbour Esplanade and La Trobe Street.

Non-essential staff were asked to leave the premises as a precautionary measure, but after about 2 hours were allowed back inside.
