Thanks to the Daily Telegraph for alerting me to this hilarious clip on Funny or Die, in which a budding US actor supposedly misses out on yet another American role because of those pesky Australian actors.
“The network wants to go another way. They want to go Australian,” his agent tells him.
“Again? They get every freaking role!” he replies.
So he takes matters into his own hands….

Apart from the fact it’s not funny it’s okay. Australians are getting so many roles in the US because they can play Americans well, the reverse is obviously not the case.
It may have something to do with my sleep deprived state but there were several times where I thought to myself “It’s Charlie Pickeri- oh wait not it’s not”

Ha, nice bit of self-referential irony with Stephanie McIntosh. Also, nice little bit at the end.
Wow, Stephanie McIntosh, wonder was she’s been up to lately (apart from this).
I wonder if Stephanie McIntosh (Sky on Neighbours @catrules) got the role ’cause she’s Australian 🙂
I can’t remember her name but the actress in this clip played Sky on Neighbours.
He looks like Eric Bana dressed like that. Doesn’t sound like him, though.
So funny! 🙂
