2013-04-12_2240Next week on The Project the guests are David Lee Roth, Margaret Cho, Sam Worthington, Tom Ballard, Tim Rogers, and HG Nelson.

Funny man Tom Ballard joins us at the desk on Monday night to talk about his latest comedy show, My Ego Is Better Than Your Ego, currently playing at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

On Tuesday night, we’ll meet Ricardo Jansen, who in 1997 was left paralysed after a motorbike accident changed his life forever. Ricardo met and married the nurse who cared for him and they recently welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world. Tonight, Ricardo gets to say thank you to the quick thinking stranger that saved his life on that fateful day. Sam Worthington and Myles Pollard are also joining us on Tuesday to talk about their new Aussie film, Drift.

One of the funniest comedians in America, Margaret Cho joins us at the desk on Wednesday night to talk about her latest show, Mother, which is currently touring Australia. Described as her edgiest show to date, Mother offers up an untraditional look at motherhood and how we look at maternal figures and strong women in queer culture.

On Thursday, we ask who has it better? Married or single people? While married people have long envied their single counterparts for their freedom and lack of responsibilities, some singles claim society is set up to disadvantage them both financially and socially. So do singles actually get the raw end of the deal? We cross to You Am I’s Tim Rogers who on April 18 will be joining over 1500 people sleeping at the iconic MCG to raise awareness and vital funds to help end youth homelessness in Victoria.

We wrap up the week with HG Nelson to talk about the big stories in sport and we’ll cross to Van Halen front man, David Lee Roth in Sydney ahead of their gig at the Stone Music Festival in Sydney.

Weeknights at 6.30pm on TEN.
