Returning: Australia’s Next Top Model

Australia's Next Top Model returns next month beginning with a "convict style" boot camp on Cockatoo Island.

2013-06-27_1413Episode one of the new season of Australia’s Next Top Model begins with a “convict style” boot camp on Cockatoo Island.

New series host Jennifer Hawkins, returning judges Charlotte Dawson and Alex Perry, and new model mentor Didier Cohen join IMG Models as they search the country for Australia’s Next Top Model. The Top 15 lucky finalists will live in Sydney while they share a house and compete for the title. Each week the finalists will take part in various challenges and photo shoots which end with the girls and judges gathering for a weekly elimination. The weakest girls are sent home each week until the final contestant remaining is declared Australia’s Next Top Model.

Following a nation wide search, and thousands of auditions, the top 50 girls in the country arrive on Cockatoo Island for a convict-style Boot Camp to take 50 girls to just 15, in three days.

DAY ONE- CONVICT LINE UP
50 Models are inspected by Jennifer, Alex and Charlotte in a mock ‘convict line-up’. Complete with ID tag, they’re photographed for their face profile and present themselves to the judges. Who will deliver the best mugshot? The judges strip the group via a shock, mass elimination from 50-25.

Our remaining 25 are advised that tonight they will sleep on foldout beds in the convict workshops!

7:30pm Tuesday July 9 FOX8.
