2013-08-29_0013Next week on ABC1’s It’s a Date Kate Ritchie and Nadine Garner play dating lesbians on a blind date in the episode “Do Opposites Attract?”

At one point they even argue over the sex appeal of Q & A‘s Tony Jones!

The other story in the episode stars Kate McLennan and Nazeem Hussain.

The episode is written by Peter Helliar and Kate Langbroek.

Meanwhile tonight’s episode features Asher Keddie, Stephen Curry, Louis Corbett and Eva Lazzaro.

A chance meeting following an incident on a bus allows country girl and massage entrepreneur Jessica (Kate McClennan) to spend some time with Sri Lankan Muslim and IT guru Ashraf (Nazeem Hussain). They discover they have much more in common than they would ever have guessed after Ashraf invites Jessica into his family home.

Meanwhile, happy-go-lucky Zara (Kate Ritchie), a nurse, and Eve (Nadine Garner), a strong minded barista, struggle to find common ground after their gym junkie mate sets them up on a blind date. A surprising admission may lead to the connection they’ve been hoping for.

9pm Thursday, 5 September on ABC1.

  1. I’ve enjoyed this show. I really enjoyed last weeks episode about the two people around 60 and getting back into the dating scene. It was awkward, which is where the humour comes from. It’s nice to see some different angles on this topic. The lesbian date is a bit different too, so I look forward to it.
