2013-08-17_2137Kevin Rudd has confirmed he will participate in the SKY News People’s Forum taking place on Wednesday night.

He will join Tony Abbott answering voter questions at the Broncos Leagues Club in Brisbane.

SKY News Political Editor David Speers will moderate the event before an audience of 100 undecided voters sourced independently by Galaxy Research.

The forum is also available for Live broadcast by all media.

Wednesday night at 6.30pm AEST on SKY News.

  1. Does it really matter no one watches pay tv sky news channel , what two hundred thousand people is sky news highest rating programme .its like putting it on SBS No ones watching.. It wont make a dent in the results of the election .plus the audience will be loaded with right wing liberal party memebers. It is after all owned by rupert murdoch owner of the daily telegragh.. Glad i dont have pay tv.

  2. Rudd really had to be dragged kicking and screaming to this. He’s doing so badly he had no choice really.

    David, how about asking the FTA networks if they’ll cover this since they have been so vocal in wanting another debate. If they don’t show it, just demonstrates they wanted their own debate for their own branding purposes.

    SKY has offered a clean feed to all networks so no excuses in my books.

  3. By moderate you mean will give Tony an easier time of it, than Kevin. I think Kevin had no choice in this he couldnt just dis SKY News because it would be far too obvious that he loathes the Murdoch press, which is completely understandable, but hey the Murdoch press are all running an agenda which suits them quite fine and that coincides with Tony’s as well. In conclusion Kevin will beat Tony aswell he has more answers and atleast he has been upfront of what needs to be done, meanwhile Tony will try and focus all the atention on the last three or six years and try and scert around actually saying how he will do any of the things he has said never mind the ones he has not. The question is will people trully listen?
