The Project: August 12 – 16

Guests the week include Kat Stewart, Brian Cox, and an interview with Matt Damon.

2013-08-10_1743This week on The Project are Kat Stewart on the finale of Offspring, an interview with Matt Damon and guest Brian Cox (although TEN’s Press Release incorrectly labels him as former front man of D:Rream when he was actually their keyboard player).

Carrie Bickmore sits down with actor, producer, philanthropist and all round nice guy Matt Damon ahead of the premiere of his new film Elysium.

We’ll learn about the amazing work taking place at Taralye, an education centre that provides early intervention to children with hearing loss. With deafness affecting almost 400 Aussie babies every year, Taralye ambassador Sarah Murdoch explains how the centre provides parents the support and skills they need to help improve the speech and language of their newborns.

Kat Stewart joins us at the desk ahead of Wednesday night’s season finale of Offspring. With the nation mourning the loss of Patrick, we find out what’s next for Billie, Nina and the Proudman family.

When it comes to all things scientific, you can’t go past Brian Cox. Best known for his work as a presenter of numerous BBC science programs and former front man of UK pop group, D:Ream, Brian joins us to talk about his amazing career.

Our US correspondent Hyla sits down with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis to talk about their latest film, We’re The Millers.

Across the week we are joined by Steve Price, Dr Andrew Rochford, Helen McCabe, Todd Sampson, Pete Helliar, Dr. Chris Brown, Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehmann and Waleed Aly.

Weeknights at 6.30pm on TEN.

  1. Can’t wait to see Kat on the Project, she’s such an amazing actress and so, so, so good on Offspring. I’m guessing we’ll see the best of her work on Wednesday nights final episode for the year.

  2. Brian Cox..what a lovely young man…first encountered him on The Graham Norton show…was amazed at the depth of his knowledge…and he explains things so we mere mortals can understand them.
