My colleague @cuhlmann has been a magnificent Political Editor at #abc730 and I will miss him enormously as he moves to new projects (1/2)

I guess he knows the ABC is about to be sold off by Tony Abbortt and wants to take up that job offer over at Fox News.
His hatred for Kevin Rudd was quite obvious.
OK I love anyone that can refer to the Tardis. Well, usually.
So he’s not going to show up in more music videos? Seriously I’d consider watching the documentary he’s making if it is played or repeated somewhere they don’t harass the viewers into watching the next show.
By the way that’s the reason pop-ups and other unnecessary electronic graphics don’t work. The viewers feel they are being harassed rather than “helped’. Think about it would you want to be loyal and stick around a place or channel that constantly harasses you?
Sorry it took so long to work out but I’ve never studied psychology. It wasn’t until this year that the torture got so great especially, but not only, by the new source i.e. the ABC. That I got motivated enough to figure it out. Before this decade the ABC and SBS were TV havens for me. Not anymore.
Antony Green remarked that Chris Uhlmann wanted to duck into the Tardis and skip to after last weekend- now we know why!
I liked him during the Labor years. He was the only ABC reporter who was impartial and occasionally criticised lefty sacred cows such as climate change. I suppose he isn’t really necessary now that Abbott is in but it was good to have his fearless approach while the others at the ABC were paid up members of the Labor cheer squad.
Would it be unfair if I said he was (is) great on radio, not so great on TV?
I always thought the criticism of his hosting abilities on 7:30 were deeply unfair.
