Seven’s brekkie show will broadcast on location from Hamilton Island with 150 Sunrise viewers.

Tasmanian couple Tenae House and Brett Fowler were the winners of a competition the show ran in May offering viewers the opportunity to get hitched on Hamilton.

To enter, they sent Sunrise a video about their love story. The prize package was valued at almost $50,000 and the wedding will be live on Sunrise this Friday.

The ceremony will take place on Hamilton Island’s Catseye Beach, where Sunrise will be broadcasting from for the morning. Californian pop duo MKTO will be there as special guests to perform their top 10 hits. The celebrant is former Perfect Match host Greg Evans and the bride and groom will share their first dance to MKTO’s ‘Classic’. Kochie and Sam will witness the signing of the registry.

Joining Kochie, Sam, Nat, Beretts and Eddy at Sunrise’s first live wedding is 150 viewers who have booked three nights with the team for a tropical holiday on Hamilton Island. Activities will include a cocktail party, Whitsundays cruise, three-course dinner and beach sports.

Friday 6am – 9am on Seven.

  1. Who wouldn’t want to get married at 8 o’clock in the morning?!

    I saw the footage of the bride and groom flying up for the wedding – on Jetstar. I’m not sure where the $50,000 is being spent?
