“To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles into the United States, a very special concert will be filmed following Grammy Day in Los Angeles.

“An all-star line-up headed up by Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and George’s wife Olivia Harrison, along with some of the biggest names in music such as Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, P!nk and Katy Perry will gather to celebrate and perform the songs of The Beatles.

“What a show that will be. And it’s only on Foxtel next year.”

  1. I doubt Yoko will be singing, she’ll be just there with Olivia like how they were there for The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil.

Personally I don’t mind Sean, his band Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger is quite good, did a ripper cover of the Serge Gainsbourg/Brigitte Bardot song Comic Strip and original songs like Shroedinger’s Cat are good as well.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sean and Dhani Harrison do something on the night, Dhani’s band thenewno2 are quite good as well (Another John Doe by them is a good song to check-out).

  2. @Ruddeger: Yoko has passed on her singing voice to Sean. She gave Sean a track on one of her albums and it was awful. That’s the luck of the genetic draw. Julian Lennon was an international pop star who had a number one hit in Australia with Saltwater in 1992 while Sean, well let’s not go there.

  3. oh good god no,Yoko is going to sing.
I saw her “sing” on Letterman last week and it was like watching a car crash or Sharknado – it was so bad you just couldn’t look away
