Melissa Doyle and Matt White will co-host Carols in the Domain this month on Seven.
Now in its 31st year, Carols will broadcast live from at The Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney.
Performers this year include Jimmy Barnes, Tina Arena, The Wiggles, Samantha Jade, Johnny Ruffo, Mark Vincent, the casts of Strictly Ballroom The Musical and Grease The Musical.
X Factor winner Dami Im and Jai Waetford will both be taking to the stage. More performers will be announced over coming weeks.
This year marks Mel Doyle’s first year as Carols co-host.
“I’m super excited to host this beautiful night with my charming buddy Matt,” she said.
“Being a Sydney girl, Carols has always been a part of my Christmas celebrations and now I’m a Mum, my children love going, so I’ve got some major cred with them by being a co-host this year.”
“It’s such an unbelievable night,”Matt White added.
“There is so much energy, passion and good will. It is unlike anything I have ever experienced in 20 years of presenting on TV.”

@The Harp: Back in the day Carols By Candlelight was far superior. Now they are both as bad as each other.
Will def be watching now Mel is hosting…love her…This one is always the easiest carols to watch coz Xmas Eve gets a bit busy sometimes so usually gets recorded and watched after Xmas lol

Is Tina arena now on the Seven Payroll? I have always preferred the Nine Carols on Xmas eve & now Melissa Doyle is hosting I won’t be watching.
