No surprises here, acclaimed US drama House Of Cards has been picked up for a third season.
The news comes ahead of the second season premiering next week.
It also marks the first renewal for drama, which originally won two-season order from Netflix with a $100m pricetag.
“Our intent is that the show keep going for sure,” Netflix‘s Ted Sarandos said in October. “It was a 26-episode commitment. It was not our intent that it just run for two seasons.”
In addition to award accolades, House Of Cards has certainly put Neflix on the map as an international player and generator of original content. The show also leads the way in ‘binge’ television, boldly offering entire seasons in one sugar-hit.
Deadline reports Netflix’s follow-up shows, Hemlock Grove and Orange Is The New Black, both have been renewed for a second season, and Netflix is continuing negotiations for another installment — episodes or movie — of Arrested Development.

I presume then that he doesn’t get bumped off at the end of season two?
Where is Hemlock Grove in Australia?
Great news.
