Marc Fennell road tests real life video game Patient Zero

Most people play video games with a console. Not Drew Hobbs and Zoe Tame. They prefer to play games with flesh and blood and are the creators of Patient Zero a real life version of a video game that you can physically play, level-up and win. Patient Zero remains the biggest crowd funded venture in Australian history. It’s played in a 7000sqm warehouse meticulously converted into an abandoned underground medical facility with over 200 non-player character (cough… zombies). This set up involves fighting with infrared weapons and feeling real pain with their electrical “pain belts”. On Tuesday’s show Zoe and Drew test their latest creation on host of The Feed and zombie movie fanatic Marc Fennell.

Babes and Boars – The Feed catches up with Miss Bacon Buster 2013

With an estimated 23 million wild boars in Australia, pig hunting has become a popular sport and a form of conservation. A growing number of these hunters are women, hunting down pigs with their dogs and slicing their throats with a knife. It’s also become common for these women to take a photograph of themselves on top of the dead pig and send it into the “Babes and Boars” section of Bacon Busters magazine.

Jade Hammond was named “Miss Bacon Buster 2013” – a title that earned her the cover photo of the annual Babes and Boars calendar. Working as a pharmacy assistant in Walgett, NSW, she spends any spare moment at night and on the weekend hunting pigs with her husband. The Feed spend a night out on Jade’s property, following her on a hunt.

A special compile episode of the best Feed stories from the week will air on SBS ONE on Friday nights at 11pm.

7:30pm Monday February 10 SBS 2.
