Seven to serve up more Manu

Manu Feildel is getting his own series on Seven this year

2014-03-16_0017My Kitchen Rules judge Manu Feildel is getting his own series on Seven this year.

“Manu has done some travel specials for us, where he is going to take the audience around his homeland of France,” Head of Programming Angus Ross recently told TV Tonight.

“They’re fantastic.

“They will be rolling around in quarter one.”

It’s not the first time the popular chef has fronted his own series.

Feildel previously presented Dinner Date and was the 2011 season winner of Dancing with the Stars.

  1. He really should start focusing on his main career as a restaurant owner and chef especially since he’s just had to close one of his restaurants because of poor business

  2. Please seven give him some elocution lessons to lessen that strong French or what ever it is accent, he is so bad when he speaks fast that he can’t be understood.

  3. Just because a personality is part of a successful show it doesn’t automatically mean that they can host a successful show also. (Think Grant Denyer or Larry/Kylie etc).
Manu is very much an acquired taste (i.e his truly awful Campbells ads) & just one of the many reasons that I don’t watch MKR.
If they wanted a French/Aussie chef for shows in France I would choose Gabriel Gate any day.
