Seven wins ratings week, ABC tops TEN.

Ratings: Seven has won its third ratings week while the ABC defeated TEN every night of the week.

2014-03-02_2314Seven has won its third ratings week of the year with a comfortable lead over Nine.

But it was bad news for TEN with the end of the Winter Olympics. It slipped back to fourth place, beaten by the ABC every night of the week.

My Kitchen Rules topped the week at 2.12m viewers, with Sunday Night also pulling out a record 1.9m viewers.

Best for Nine was Fat Tony and Co at 1.39m viewers and The Block up to 1.33m.

Weekend dramas Doc Martin (1.15m) and The Doctor Blake Mysteries (975,000) were best for ABC1 with TEN Eyewitness News (573,000) as TEN’s highest. On SBS ONE Gourmet Farmer‘s 289,000 was best.

Nine won the key demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

Seven won all cities except Melbourne, which fell to Nine.

Seven ranked first on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and tied with the ABC on Saturday.

  1. Did Seven also win all the demos? The demos are really important as this is how the networks make their money from advertisers. Seven must have won all three of the demos or it would have been mentioned in the article. Well done Seven, great work!
