2014-06-02_1426Later this month the LifeStyle channel will screen the first of a series of specials on its #1 show, Selling Houses Australia.

Inside Selling Houses Australia will show how Andrew Winter, Shaynna Blaze and Charlie Albone transform properties for auction sale.

A second special will air in early July. Three more will air later this year.

Seven years ago the team from Selling Houses Australia first appeared on our television screens. Their mission – to take the nations unsellable houses and transform them into real estate gems. Since 2008, the team has performed their magic on over 70 homes, turning down-and-out dumps into designer pads.

In each episode of the five-part one-hour series of Inside Selling Houses Australia, Andrew invites his trusted colleagues to relive some of their biggest challenges and greatest transformations. It’s a chance for them to swap war stories, share design principles and reveal the success behind the highest ratings series in the history of subscription television. And the best bit – viewers will get a sneak peek behind the doors at ‘Winter Mansions’, because this time, the team are getting together at Andrew’s house.

Episode one ‘Reject Row’, takes us all the way back to the very first season of Selling Houses Australia – to Tom and Theresa’s tiny outdated house on a busy street in Botany; Brett and Peter, the odd couple best-mates and their student bachelor pad in Dingley Village; Judy and Graham, who purchased their new home before selling their old one in the coastal town of Austinmer; and the renovation project in Runaway Bay that literally sent buyers running. Episode one airs Wednesday, June 25 at 8.30pm

Selling Houses Australia has come across its fair share of hoarders and episode two ‘Hoarder Heaven’, features some of the worst – like Daphne, who shared her Granville house with more collectables, ornaments and trinkets than there was room for; Marg and Greg and their bomb site in Chatswood; John and Karen’s house in Oxley Park, whose junk took up every room in the house, including the un-finished renovation and garden; and the biggest hoarder the series has seen in Roy at his Ashbury home. Episode two airs Wednesday, July 2 at 8.30pm

Inside Selling Houses Australia is produced exclusively for The LifeStyle Channel by Beyond Productions. The three remaining episodes in the series will air throughout the year.

Wednesday, June 25 and Wednesday, July 2 at 8.30pm, on the LifeStyle Channel.
