Ryan Corr on drug charge

Actor Ryan Corr (Love Child, Packed to the Rafters, Banished) has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug.

Fairfax Media reports he was apprehended by police on May 27th in Bondi, allegedly found with a freezer bag full of heroin powder.

Corr was absent from his first court appearance in Waverley Local Court on Tuesday because he was overseas, according to court documents.

Daily Mail reports he is due back in court on September 2nd. The court heard he was expected to plead guilty when he returned.

Corr will next appear in BBC’s Banished, the Seven-backed Russell Crowe movie, The Water Diviner and Nine’s Love Child.
