Former Neighbours star takes a WA Weekender

Dan Paris is back on the box, co-hosting a new WA lifestyle series.

2014-08-06_0029Former Neighbours star Dan Paris is back on the box, this time co-hosting a new West Australian lifestyle series for Seven, WA Weekender.

Paris played  Drew Kirk on the TEN soap from 1998 – 2002.

Joined by Haley Thompson, Jessie James, Sarah Danze and Mat Dwyer it showcases the best of WA including city sights, restaurants, public art in the city, paddock to plate food, speed dating, ice skating, horseback riding and more.

Channel Seven Perth, managing director Mario D’Orazio said, “We’re firmly committed to local shows because we know West Australians love them.

“We are delighted to add WA Weekender to The Footy Fix in our list of local productions.

“Watch this space – there will be more local shows to come.”

The Digital Imagineers Company managing director, Stephen Aspinall said, “Our state is an amazing place that all too many West Australians just don’t get to see.

“The idea behind WA Weekender is to educate and inspire all West Australians to look up from their phone or get off the couch and have some genuine and authentic experiences.”

  1. I think Dan has been on another WA home show, as a presenter. He also advertises swimming pools.

    Its great to have some locally produced WA shows.
