Renewed: The Leftovers

US mystery-drama The Leftovers was recently renewed for a second season.

Based on the novel by Tom Perrotta, the series from producer Damon Lindelof centres around an unexplained event in which 2% of the world’s population suddenly disappeared, and features Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler and Max & Charlie Carver.

It will premiere in Australia on Foxtel next month.
