It was Katey Sagal’s Hollywood Walk of Fame moment, but much of the press coverage for this event has been about the reunion of former Married with Childen stars, Ed O’Neill, Christina Applegate and David Faustino.
It’s been 17 years since the show went off the air in the US -although it’s not the first time they have gathered since.
Faustino has tweeted and retweeted a number of responses to the notion of a reunion and movie.
Great Bundy reunion today!! https://t.co/s5GMDy8wpi

@tpro74: @DavidFaustino You all should do a Married With Children TV movie…so we can see how the Bundy’s are doing.

Meanwhile Sagal, who has since gone on to Futurama and Sons of Anarchy, was joined by her current co-stars including Charlie Hunnam and real-life husband and Anarchy creator, Kurt Sutter.
Update: E! now reports Sony Pictures Television is taking out a pitch for a spin-off series based on David Faustino’s character, Bud Bundy.

Strange thing is Ed is still playing the patriarch of an odd family in a sitcom (with a bigger cast).
Loved the show but think a reunion show or movie now would be a terrible idea.
