Mark Holden has left the building

DWTS loses its most-talked about participant as a shirtless Mark Holden is sent packing.

2014-10-21_2332Dancing with the Stars lost its resident clown -literally- when Mark Holden was voted out of the show last night -but not before taunting the judges one last time.

The 60 year old former Reality TV judge was as relieved as hosts Daniel MacPherson and Edwina Bartholomew with the news his time was finally up.

Dressed as a shirtless Vladimir Putin (as previously threatened) he again finished at the bottom of the leader board with 12 points -a threefold improvement on last week. After last week’s derailed performance, this time his mouth was gaffer taped closed.

He thanked his partner Jessica Prince and acknowledged his chosen charity, Ice Factor.

“Thankyou everyone for voting and supporting Ice Factor. It’s a really worthwhile cause and they deserve the support. I’d also like to thank Jess as she’s put up with so much.”

But his departure also means the show has lost its most talked-about contestant this year. Last night he was one of the final acts to perform, strategically placed to keep viewers watching.

Holden is now tipped to join TEN’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

  1. I guess his legal career isn’t going too well – I doubt if what I’ve read about all this nonsense (I’m longer a viewer of the program) will enhance his prospects much.

Sounds like a put-up job to me.

  2. @Hoin – no, you need to be a celebrity for “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here” in exactly the same way that you need to be a star to go on DWTS.

  3. Surely Ricki-Lee has this in the bag she’s the only one that can dance while having a great attitude plus personality to go with it and pretty sure she’s the biggest star!
