Actor Vince Colosimo pleaded guilty to driving while suspended but escapes conviction.

2014-12-01_2240Actor Vince Colosimo pleaded guilty to driving while suspended in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Colosimo, 48, was pulled up by police in Northcote in May for not wearing seat belt. He was let off with a warning but things escalated when it was discovered his licence had been suspended on demerit points because of a number of speeding fines.

The Underbelly star believed he had taken the demerit bond option, which would have allowed him to continue to drive.

But he was pulled over in July, for driving while still suspended.

He was given a $1000 fine and had his licence suspended for 14 days, without conviction.
