Richard Reid joins Studio 10
Richard Reid begins from Tuesday with the reunited cast from Lost in Space.

Former Today entertainment guru Richard Reid is joining Studio 10.
The Sunday Telegraph reports he will be creating entertainment packages from the US.
Producer Rob McKnight tells TV Tonight, Reid will make his first appearance on Tuesday with the reunited cast from Lost in Space (must see this….).
“You’re about to see another side to Richard Reid. We have entertainment news covered with Angela Bishop and Craig Bennett, so Richard will focus on interviews and stories with some of the worlds biggest celebrities,” he said.
“Richard’s previously been a producer and reporter on some of the biggest news entertainment shows in the US, so we’ll be using his contacts and skills to bring Studio 10 viewers some great stories from Hollywood. In fact he’s shooting with some big celebrities right now and you’ll see his first report on Tuesday.”
There has been speculation he will also appear on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! recently telling Kyle & Jackie O, “Let me put it this way, I have my bags packed.
“I’ve had a bunch of shots for god knows what kind of diseases.
“I’ve been to a bunch of places to get my visa stamped but I can only say it’s none of your business.”
But he also said he on Twitter he was not going to Africa.

Oh please. This guy is painful and punishing in the extreme. Find his whole persona repellent. Have been loving Studio 10. No need for another entertainment reporter. Studio 10 covers showbiz brilliantly, way better than Mornings & TMS. Craig Bennett is funny, informed, great balance of stories. Not sure why he’s not used more on the show. Angela Bishop adds her thing, and I love the Aussie perspective of rounding up the entertainment news. Richard Reid is just a blight.
@JM, well I say good on Ten for taking a leaf out of the dirty book of TV in Australia.
Nine will steal any ideas it can without shame.
Remember when Nine quickly revamped today with a desk (as it heard Adam Boland was doing this on Wake Up). And how about when the Block stole ideas from the Renovators – which actually helped Nine refresh the Block along with some MKR melodrama.
Having said all this.. I think Angela Bishop and Craig Bennett are all class.
I could never understand why 9 kept Reid but got rid of Sarah Mahone, who was far more engaging.
I like Studio 10……but have no time for this guy.
Have always liked the fact Studio 10 has Aussies reporting on Hollywood gossip……But now????

And what were some people saying about channel 9 copying channel 10 over some “personalised mugs” on “Mornings”……… Well I guess this isn’t copying ideas…. More like stealing ideas…. Or talent……. Sorry not stealing…. Paying them more
Are Richard Reid and Carson Kresley related? Both seemingly put on this extreme act whenever in front a camera for what reason I don’t know. Surely there are entertainment reporters that are a lot more down to earth?
Oh great! I was warming to Studio 10 during my summer break and now with the loud annoying Richard joining the show, Studio 10 has lost a viewer. Thank god Mornings returns on Monday 26/1.
I really like Studio 10 but Richard Reid must have the most annoying voice on TV and I don’t understand why they need a third entertainment reporter.
I always thought I played up his American twang for the today show crosses. Hopefully when he has more than a minute and some decent material to work with he can show another, non-annoying, side

I like Richard but there’s already an overload of entertainment news on Studio 10 with Craig and Angela. Now there’s another entertainment reporter?
