TEN lifts but Nine takes summer ratings week

Just 0.2% gives Nine the week over Seven with some unusual results.

2015-01-05_0007Nine pipped Seven at the post for last week’s summer ratings by just 0.2% -a figure that could see it change hands when Consolidated viewing is finalised in a week’s time.

Network:
Nine: 26.8
Seven: 26.6
TEN: 21.3
ABC: 19.1
SBS: 6.3

It proved to be an unusual week, with Seven winning more nights than Nine but the latter’s big win on Tuesday, plus one night going to ABC, kept Seven from victory.

ABC’s Midnight Fireworks on New Year’s Eve was the top title of the week at 1.37m viewers although Nine News hit 1.41m on Tuesday, but averaged lower across the week.

TEN also lifted thanks to the Big Bash League, with its multichannel ONE even outscoring GO!

Primary Channel:
Nine: 19.6
Seven: 17.6
ABC: 13.7
TEN: 12.9
SBS ONE: 4.7

7TWO: 5.5
ONE: 4.8
GO!: 4.0
ELEVEN: 3.6

ABC News 24: 1.8
