OMG. Adam Looking for Eve (with total, full frontal nudity) coming to SBS 2

Ok let’s call this now: I’m tipping SBS 2 has just announced a show that will probably become their highest rated series ever.

Adam Looking for Eve is one of those naked dating shows like, umm Dating Naked, except for one key difference: no p-i-x-e-l-l-a-t-i-o-n!

Yep this Dutch show in which strangers meet for the first time on a deserted tropical island will see them without any blurry pixellation, subtly-placed bushes (sorry!) or tactful fig leaves.

While the YouTube promo has some delicately placed fig leaves to comply with their hosting rules, Adam Looking for Eve will not. It can also screen in an MA timeslot on SBS 2, at a time when commercial networks are pushing for the same timezone liberations.

Perhaps SBS is responding to commentary that nothing on TV is exciting our imagination.

Episode One: 
Social worker Kathy, 26, tends to fall in love far too easily and has a soft spot for long-haired, beer-drinking men with a sense of humour; which pretty much describes recent college dropout Jorrit Pieter. Each is dropped off on opposite sides of the beautiful, desert island of Mogo Mogo with only a few personal items and enough food to prevent starvation. After the first night, Kathy and Jorrit Pieter appear to be a match made in heaven, but their honeymoon period is about to be severely tested, as there is another Adam on his way to the tropical paradise. Bartender and creative designer Rolf, 30, is more than ready to settle down. On paper, he is a good match for Kathy, but obviously he’s not the only contender. After a few days, Kathy will have to send home one of the two men. Who will she choose? And will he choose her?

Friday March 13, 8:30pm on SBS 2.

  2. Been a few shows recently that have had nakedness with half the show usually being blurred just makes it for very boring TV.But at least this one will be watchable

  3. Or will the two guys chose each other? Next, topless weather girls or the return of the the politically incorrect Miss Nude Australia Pageant!

    I only watch SBS for the sub-titles.

  5. What does it take to be the top rating show on SBS2, 50k?

    Better full frontal nudity than La Belle Noisuese etc, which SBS used to show on Friday night when they ran out of Erotic Tales and documentaries on Sex.

  6. If this rates as well as expected, all the comm chs should take note and produce hybrids of their own shows….I’m a Naked Celeb Get Me In There, The (naked) Bachelor, My Naked Kitchen Rules, The Naked Block Triple Treat…the possibilities are immense

    1. ouch, some nasty injuries waiting to happen there on the Naked Block & i don’t even want to think about the mishaps that could happen on Naked MKR, it would probably put viewers right off their food!

  7. I can think of a few good headlines for the show –

    They bare more than just their soul, They have nothing to hide, We get to the naked truth and That’s the bottom line…
