Rod Law, Director of Television and Head of FOX Footy has resigned from the company after 8 years, effective immediately.
There were no further details available as to his sudden exit. Yesterday a FOX Sports spokesperson told TV Tonight that Law was on leave, unable to clarify a return date.
Sources indicate much activity at FOX Footy’s Melbourne headquarters yesterday with Sydney execs on site.
In a statement today FOX Sports CEO Patrick Delany said that Gary Burns, Head of Programming & Production, Sydney, has been appointed the Acting Head of FOX Footy.
Michael Neill will return to FOX Sports as Head of Programming & Production.
“We have a great team in Melbourne that will give footy fans a super season this year,” said Delany.
