Netflix has renewed House Of Cards for a fourth season in 2016, barely a month after the third season has premiered.
Production on the next season is set to start in the US summer in and around Baltimore, where past cycles have been filmed.
No debut date was given for the next cycle of House Of Cards, but as Deadline notes, if this last season was any indication, it should land right in the middle of real political drama.
Season 3 is currently streaming in its entirety on Netflix, having launched on March 24th.

If the US series borrows from the UK series it will reach a climatic ending.
Season 3 was a disappointing mess. Let’s hope they can lift their game for S4.
Most of downloads for S3 would be in the first month. So they know precisely their number of subscribers and how many downloaded House of Cards so far, and from previous years how many are likely to download it later. They aren’t going to get any more data before it has to be put back into production, so why not renew it now and reap the benefits.
It was almost a no brainer. Even with the lukewarm reviews unlike network tv, Netflix wouldn’t leave us all with a cliffhanger that it’d never resolve (it saved The Killing, got CW to give Nikkita the final 6 episodes, even renewed Hemlock Grove for a final season even though it was (at the time) one of the worst reviewed shows) just so that we wouldn’t end a show with a cliffhanger.
