Marta Jandová was born in Prague into an artistic family. In 1993, she moved to Germany and started singing in a rock band called Die Happy. In 2000, they released Supersonic Speed, the first of their eight studio albums. The band has received several nominations for the major Echo and Eins Live Krone music awards and has played more than 1,000 concerts.

Bárta’s interest in music began at the age of four. He learnt to play the piano, flute and clarinet and later, self-taught, the guitar, bass and percussion instruments. Over the years in the field of pop and rock music he has collaborated as a composer, arranger, and singer with some of the leading Czech musicians.
