Oops. Gorgi Coghlan apologises for being breast dressed.

"It's just the seams," insists Gorgi Coghlan after Project viewers question a 'revealing' dress.

The Project viewers took to social media last night passing comment on Gorgi Coghlan’s choice of wardrobe, and mistaking her for going topless or whether her nipples were prominent.

“I’m so sorry, it actually isn’t….” she told viewers. “It’s just the seams. There’s heaps of buffering there and heaps of stuffing and I apologise if I’ve offended anybody.”

Panelist Jennifer Byrne clarified that “It doesn’t look like that in here at all.”

“Maybe it’s not reading the same way as it did when we got dressed with the team downstairs,” Coghlan continued.

“I will be in a turtle neck tomorrow night.”

More importantly last night’s show discussed everything from animal rights and terrorism to marriage equality.

But none of those had nipples.

  1. I’m wondering how Gorgi in a light sleeveless top, and Waleed in a buttoned-up jacket, shirt, and tie can both be at a comfortable temperature? Perhaps Gorgi is wearing moleskin pants with knee boots and Waleed is in his boxers and bare feet?

    1. I absolutely deplore that men’s clothing has barely change….still have collars…ties and suits….I would hate to have to wear that same attire every day…no matter what the weather….

      1. Yep. I’m a bit jealous that men are still usually expected to wear a dark suit and tie to dress-up occasions but the ladies can wear an electric turquoise thing that has more Hollywood tape than actual material.

I did once attend a wedding on a 40° day and wore just a waistcoat and matching bow-tie with light trousers. I was quite comfortable.

        1. Ha ha. I was only talking to my Boyfriend about this the other day. When we dress up nice, he’s uncomfortable because he’s very hot blooded and hates wearing more than shorts and t-shirt. And I’m always cold, having to wear a little cocktail dress or something similar We’d both be a lot happier if things were the other way around…

  2. So embarrassing having wardrobe malfunctions. I work as a nanny and one day I saw my sister after work and she said ‘you know you can see right through that shirt?. It was more sheer than I realised so I’d been prancing around all day wearing a see-through top!

  3. Wow, one would think the wardrobe people would know what there doing, that is a terrible shirt and she should of wore something underneath

          1. It’s not her nipples. It’s the seams of the shirt, They have sewn little darts under the boobs so the fabric curves in the right way. But it’s just exactly in the wrong position.

    1. Too true. Nobody jumps straight to social media to make a fuss when Karl’s pants & stance made him look like he’s got a little chubby going on…

  4. Also more importantly, I think Gorgi has done a fantastic job filling in for Carrie. She really seems to have settled into the role over the last few weeks, not being afraid to offer some strong opinions on different issues and challenge guests when they’re needing to be challenged.

    1. I agree with you cazz, although i have never been a fan of Gorgi but she has placed her stamp on the show – it has been a good amount of time to settle in and find her groove. I still don’t think she is as versatile as Carrie, but she has shown loads of wit and passion for issues and an ability to hold her own in the presence of some hard hitting guests – either the intellectual ones or the overly opinionated ones or the truly funny ones. That is no mean feat on the show. Also, i am surprised at how well Waleed has settled in too. I didn’t know if he would. Love Peter Helliar (and Lehmo and Tommy Little) The show is must see check in for me these days.
