Brynne: “I think I just fell in love with the wrong person.”

Former Seven socialite Brynne Edelsten says she fell for “the wrong person” but admits she got lucky in marrying high-flying doctor Geoffrey Edelsten.

Speaking to Studio 10, the Seven reality star says her life changed after meeting Edelsten.

Of her famed celebrity-invite wedding she alleged members of the Edelsten family were paid to attend, but her brothers were kept away from the bridal party table by security.

Despite attracting a socialite lifestyle, she says she grew apart from her husband who worked long hours and went to bed early.

But she also stopped short of completely trashing her last relationship.

Asked if she would ever marry again, Edelsten was reluctant to enter into something that might lead to another messy divorce.

“I think I just fell in love with the wrong person. I think I’m more guarded than I was, I’m not as naïve as I was, I definitely put more thought into things, but no, I’m not going to let Geoff ruin love for me,” she said.

On the news that Geoffrey Edelsten and new wife Gabi Grecko are now expecting their first child, she said, “It’s not really my business, but like I said, a baby’s always a blessing, so I just wish them well and a healthy baby.”
