Blind Auditions for The Voice managed a second win for Nine last night at 1.4m, with surprisingly strong numbers for the debut of Lip Sync Battle on 1.12m in preliminary numbers. While those will likely drop after being adjusted for the timeslot, they will still hold up well. And the show was strong in the Demos.
MasterChef also lifted for TEN last night, while ABC had a solid night including a timeslot win by Q & A and bribery allegations made by Four Corners.
Nine network won with 30.8% then Seven 23.9%, ABC 20.3%, TEN 20.0% and SBS 5.1%.
The Voice (1.4m) Nine News was (1.2m / 1.15m) for Nine then Lip Sync Battle (1.12m), A Current Affair (1.08m) and Hot Seat (687,000). Footy Classified was 286,000 in 3 cities and Two and a Half Men was 196,000 in 2 cities.
Seven News (1.03m / 964,000) was best for Seven then House Rules (868,000), Home and Away (742,000), Million Dollar Minute (534,000) and Wimbledon (524,000 / 359,000).
MasterChef (1.08m) returned to second place in its timeslot for TEN. The Project was 670,000 / 496,000, TEN Eyewitness News was 665,000, Have You Been Paying Attention? was 589,000 but Under the Dome was underwhelming on just 252,000.
ABC enjoyed strong audiences last night with ABC News (936,000), Four Corners (863,000), Media Watch (848,000), Australian Story (820,000), Q & A (797,000) and 7:30 (784,000).
On SBS ONE it was Pain, Pus and Poison (267,000), The Truth about Fat (208,000), SBS World News (183,000) and Death Row (172,000).
Neighbours led multichannels at 266,000.
Sunrise: 288,000
Today: 236,000
ABC News Breakfast: 97,000 / 50,000
OzTAM Overnights: Monday 29 June 2015
Corrected.

It’s on 7TWO (ch 62) from tonight according to our TV guide in the Sunshine Coast papers.
I tried to watch Under The Dome as i enjoyed the previous seasons but I could not understand whether or not it was a flashback or into the future or what it was……I gave up.
Yeah, I started watching during the second season and it was ok, but now it’s so confusing, they were in a fake world, and in cocoons in the real world and…. I’ll still watch next week but… a bit weird!
But not too bad I suppose…
QandA time slot win is clear vindication that the attacks by News Limited the shock jocks from 2gb and tony abbott and his liberal party was not justified .the govt should keep out and stop interfering with the national broadcaster and trying to turn it into a state broadcaster.
Spot on!
Under the Dome will likely collapse this season if episode one is any example of what viewers will expect. The gap of time since last season means a test of memory for those trying to interpret the underlying message of the show. Marg Helgenberger is a curious addition to bolster the cast as they are clearly struggling with a lacklustre script and ailing storyline. I’m not sure if Stephen King has any creative association, I didn’t see his name.
Under the Dome – 252k – What does Ten honestly expect with a 9.45 start / 11.30 finish? It would have done better on Friday night 8.30 same day as USA as I suspect hardcore fans would not wait a few days for it and find other means. Also alot of competition last night.
No way. Graham Norton is far suited to Fridays at 8.30pm. That would be like quickly get rid off it and on sell it to Foxtel if Ten aired it at 8.30pm Fridays which is not ideally. Leave it as it is as Ten have almost every slot covered except for 6.30 Sundays and 8.30-11.30 Tuesdays which is quite good from the network.
None of those S614 Castle, S103 Safe House, S906 24 LAD, and S104 Daredevil (Netflix)
What are those little black books the judges on the Voice keep playing with?
I think Ricky is making notes, and Jessie J. was on her phone.
Well tennis is certainly off the boil
As soon as I heard that someone was trying to get a court injunction to stop 4 Corners I knew I just had to watch. ABC thanks whoever it was for the free publicity.
Home & Away seems to have lost about a quarter of its audience since the “death” of Brax.
Any money says it will do what Dalles did and do a “Brax isn’t dead, it’s was all a dream” storyline
Do you watch home and away? Brax isn’t dead. Viewers already know this.
Wonder how long it will take 7 to move the tennis to 7TWO? I much preferred the coverage on Fox Sports
Tennis was always scheduled for multichannels, see earlier posts.
Then I hope its on 7 Mate in HD!!
it would never be on 7mate. As Wimbledon will be on 7/7Two.
Hi David, I’m assuming a typo – TEN 10.3%?
