It's a Monday double, and Blacklist is back.

More changes from Seven…

Next Monday Home and Away screens as a double episode -no doubt in an attempt to divert attention from the MasterChef grand final.

Highway Patrol follows at 8pm.

Unbelievably, Seven changed its mind again and put The Blacklist back into schedule, at 9:30pm with a double episode.

Hard to keep up with all these changes!

  1. I think “Home and Away” once the pearl in Seven’s crown is now on its last legs. Since they lost their three big hunk stars (River Boys plot) I note the ratings have dwindled and continue to do so which has a lot to do with Seven playing with its timeslot as well. It would be a shame if this series ends up on 7Two like “Neighbours” only kept alive because of Britain with reduced cast and reduced budget. The series turns 30 next year, why not finish it up on a high?

  2. Is this a ‘take away impetus from MasterChef’ move or a ‘We want our show that starts on the Tuesday to be at a constant time each night’ move?
For mine, H&A should just go back to being a 7pm Mon-Fri show. I’m aware that AFL dictates against that in SA but I think the throwing around the schedule that’s happening is aiding any decline in ratings.

    1. AFL coverage in Melbourne doesn’t actually start till 7.30pm on 7 in Melbourne with a match start time of 7.50pm. So 7 could actually air home and away on Friday nights prior to the afl. Instead 7 feels that better home and gardens is more important that home and away and hence home and away gets shafted.
Home and Away is a 30 min show and should be aired that way. Watching double or triple episodes makes viewing very disjointed. Also watching more than 5 eps a week is just too much. I gave up home and away a few weeks ago and I don’t miss it. Home and Away was a reason to turn the tv in prime time. Not watching it means less tv.

      1. 7’s coverage starts at 7pm EST. First half hour is on 7mate.
If 7 want to insist on having H&A as 5 episodes a week, just air it 5 nights a week in the same spot. I don’t care if it’s Mon-Fri or Sun-Thu.

  3. I’m thinking 7 is missing the direction of David Leckie as the captain of their (seemingly now rudderless) ship
They should get him back on board – before TEN snaps him up.
