Unless you were into serious documentaries, Tuesday was a fairly uneventful night of television.
Sure we had local drama and local reality, and pet videos from the UK, but it was Kevin McCloud’s Escape to the Wild that won at 8:30pm with 692,000 viewers for ABC. SBS also drew 449,000 for Who Do You Think You Are? with David Wenham at 7:30pm -not enough to knock off any of the competition but a good number by network standards.

On SBS it was Who Do You Think You Are? was strong (449,000) then Insight (222,000), Dateline (180,000) and SBS World News (151,000).
ABC2’s Shaun the Sheep (257,000) led multichannels.

Bad numbers for Chicago Fire’s season return.
Yes well, a double episode that started at 9.30pm – I recorded it and I bet a lot of others did the same. BTW it would help if Seven fixed their EPG…it’s not been updating start and finish times for days.
Tuesday nights are always shocking on the commercial networks, so it’s no wonder that doco-type programs do well. I don’t know why, but Tuesdays have nearly always been crap television.
Years ago Tuesday was one of the better nights – but agree now nothing much on – most of our viewing on Tuesday night is recordings and SBS.
That’s worrying for Spelling Bee. Luckily it finishes soon. I haven’t watched it, but surely one night is plenty
Oh Channel 7. Can’t wait for ‘Kitchen Utensils That Make You Laugh Out Loud’ in a few weeks when the well runs dry.
The Truth About Pain Relief Was a lot better the Laugh Out Loud.
Reality Flops that make you laugh out loud – Seven’s had a few of them – Rest Rev, Big Adventure, Mole…
wow those must be the highest ratings for Home and Away in months!
H&A numbers going up might have something to do with Ed Sheeran as guest star storyline airing soon. Also recent announcement of Steve Peacocke (Brax) returning?
